Personal Background

Anthony Lance, Senior Physiotherapist at Southern Suburbs Physiotherapy Centre (SSPC), brings over 30 years of experience to the realm of physiotherapy. Graduating from La Trobe University in 1992, Anthony has been an integral part of the SSPC team since its inception.

Anthony’s major personal sporting background was in Australian Rules Football, a passion he still has today. Growing up in East Bentleigh, Anthony retains many ties with the local sporting and school community.

Anthony’s journey in physiotherapy is deeply rooted in his love for sports, particularly football. His extensive sporting background has granted him insights into the unique challenges faced by athletes.

As time has gone, Anthony’s love of knee injuries in particular has seen him focus in on this part of the body. From acute sporting knee injuries like ACL’s and patella dislocations, through to more chronic knee conditions like arthritis and joint replacements, Anthony is committed to helping individuals regain their strength, function and mobility, ensuring they can continue to enjoy an active lifestyle.
