Personal Background

Rob has seen SSPC grow from a two-person practice in 1997 to what it is today, as a large multi-disciplined practice that is the mainstay for injury prevention and rehabilitation in East Bentleigh and surrounding suburbs.

Rob ran at an elite level back in 1990 representing Australia on 5 occasions and winning two national cross-country titles. Ever since he has worked closely with runners of all levels helping many get across the line in their first marathon through to being a physiotherapist with the Australian Cross Country Team from 2004-2015. Rob is currently the head physio for a professional running team called the ON Athletic Club helping manage some of Australia’s most promising middle distance and distance runners in their push to make the next Olympic Team.

Rob's Passion

All Things Distance Running. You will still see Rob running the beach trails most days and he pops up at a few local Park Runs or racing for Glenhuntly Athletic Club. He has been running for 40 years and worked with runners for the past 30 years.

Rob also enjoys a hit of golf and loves a glass of red wine
