Personal Background

Riley graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy, after completing his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in his homeland of Canada and has worked in a speciality private practice in Melbourne focusing in TMJ disorders and Facial Pain.

Riley’s personal sporting background includes playing youth basketball, tennis surfing, triathlons, and most recently running. As a new passion, Riley has freshly completed marathons in Sydney and Melbourne, and is keen on tackling other races in the future.

Riley's Passion

Riley’s journey through physiotherapy comes from his passions in sport and physical activity, where he has a unique background giving him a strong perspective understanding the difficulties athletes come across.

Through dedication and pursuit, Riley’s passions come from his background in sports. He has dealt with injuries such as ankle sprains, tendinopathies, iliotibial band syndrome, patellofemoral pain, and chronic shoulder conditions. He has worked with a variety of sports teams here in Australia and Canada, from VAFA footy teams to university sports.

Riley believes in empowering his patients to take control of their lives and their rehabilitation and assisting through goals and personalized treatments designed to help his patients live their best lives.
